Underwater inspections on structures of offshore windmills with ROV, both on the outside and inside

We have specialized in underwater inspections on monopiles, jackets, gravity based foundations and last but not least on floating windmill foundations. To overcome the very high flow velocities and turbulence around windmill foundations, we have developed our own techniques, which are unique in the world. We perform the inspections with ROV, underwater robots in combination with the ALTUM telescopic pole.

This makes us unique in the underwater inspections with ROV in the world.

Due to our strong expertise in the sector, we have been able to perform the initial underwater inspections with ROV on floating windmill foundations of Engie (Atlantic windfloat) and the Cobra group (Kincardine) together with the Class Bureau American Bureau of Shipping.

In the North Sea, we carry out inspections on windmill foundations with underwater drones for C-Power, Parkwind, Northwind, Engie, Cobra group, Jan de Nul and Norther.
