Thermographic inspection

Get early detection of visually undetectable electrical and mechanical problems by experienced infrared thermography technicians.

Scope

Infrared Thermography is playing an increasingly important role in the prevention and control of visually undetectable maintenance problems.
This technology allows us to detect overloaded circuits, faulty or high resistance connections, damaged fuses and clips, defective electrical components and mechanical problems before they can cause expensive facility damage or production losses.
Thermographic imagery helps to eliminate the risk of human injury and/or loss of life.

Without shutting down the equipment, or interfering with production, a thermographic inspection can detect:

• problems in electrical panels
• motor control centers
• switchgear cabinets
• transformer bushings and terminations
• equipment control panels that may result in electrical fires, mechanical breakdowns, or significant business interruption

Note

We always perform thermographic inspections in combination with ultrasonic inspections.

• this combination leads to a better and accurate detection of faults, anomalies.
• after the inspection a full detailed report is submitted to the client.

Certification

We are the only company approved by Bureau Veritas to perform thermographic inspections on board your vessels.
