During one of our recent inspections inside the monopile of a wind turbine at the Norther Offshore Wind Farm, we encountered something truly magical…

A curious seal had made its way into the monopile — already a rare sight — but what made the scene unforgettable was the glowing blue bioluminescence (sea sparkle) surrounding it.

The result? A moment straight out of a nature documentary, right in the middle of a technical inspection. As always, we took the animal's safety into account and continued our work with care and respect for its presence.

Even in the most engineered environments, nature still manages to amaze us.
