Diving inspections of aqueducts, aquifers up to 3000 meters long with underwater drones

Aqueducts, aquifers and underwater viaducts should be inspected periodically to detect cracks, concrete rot and deformation of the structure. When an aqueduct is difficult to enter with a boat or the costs of pumping water out are too high, an underwater drone or underwater robot (ROV) can be the perfect alternative. By using this tool, the asset can be inspected underwater with a camera and/or sonar. Above the waterline, a high-resolution camera is used. Inspection with an ROV is safer, faster and more cohesive for data analysis afterwards.

Because such aquifers can sometimes be very long, they also become too dangerous for divers. We have the 'in-house' expertise to inspect ducts up to 3000 meters long. Unique in the low countries.
